Red Flag! Do Men Get PMS?

      

       

       Women like to say that they're the only ones that bear the burden of PMS because they're actually the ones who are enduring all the physical pain, emotional anguish, not to mention a never-ending flow of the red stuff from down below and they're right, they do suffer more than men do. Men are constantly confused as to why the sweet girl that they love 21 days a month suddenly turns into an angry mood.

"All men suck!"

"You don't know how this feels! Why don't you understand!? I hate you for not understanding! God, you're f*cking WORTHLESS!"

"Feed me chocolate, dammit, and cater to my every whim or DIE!"

But have you ever wondered, 'is a man also period?’ The truth is mood swings in guys, and many of the symptoms that women experience as part of PMS are just as common in men. The answer to that is ‘NO’ they do not have uteri. PMS is premenstrual syndrome which is the whole complex of symptoms that occur as a result of female hormonal imbalance. Hormone-imbalances can cause depression. Depression is a symptom of PMS, and most people get depressed. They may feel like what they do is not good enough for other people. Some people deal with depression by crying, while others just stay in their homes.

But men do have other cycles in their lives, researchers recently discovered that many men really do suffer from a condition similar to PMS called Irritable Male Syndrome (IMS).

 However, it is not like the contaminated blood from their bodies and menstrual cramps * replaced with 'stomach cramps'* for some men. Most men think shifting levels of hormones is something only women suffer from, but facts show otherwise. Men are equally prone to depression, high stress levels, and mood swings. 

What Influences Men's Moods? It is very similar to those that affect a woman's mood. Men who eat a poor-quality diet, too much alcohol and caffeine and not enough vitamins and minerals are simply more likely to feel cross and irritable. Some other factors can affect men's moods are social stresses, including work and financial pressures which is expected of men in this society.

Men go through from depression, frustrations, and stress. The only difference is that women express their emotions where as men have been taught to suffer in silence and tend to become lonelier.

Could that itself be a reason why women generally live longer than men?

Malaysia vs Manchester City

Kuala Lumpur, 30th July 2012: Hope to see the tigers defeat Manchester City were disappointed when Malaysian squad lost 1-3 to the City at the Stadium Bukit Jalil last night.

The national team failed to exhibit the same game when they lost narrowly 1-2 to Arsenal on Tuesday but only emerged in the last five minutes remaining to close the gap behind three goals.

The nephew of Datuk K. Rajagopal should know the City’s squad had more advantage in term of physical and strategy when the City’s superstar Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Adam Johnson made ​​a name as a goalscorer in the first half.

The attempt by Aguero in the 18^th minute mark, managed to deceive four defense led by Farizal Marlias when Arguero performed a solo effort up to the penalty box before pushing the ball into the goal.

Three minutes after the break, the City added another goal by Argentina striker, Carlos Tevez in the 47^th minute, followed by Johnson's third goal at 51^st minute.

Nik Farok which is a big fan of Manchester City said tigers couldn’t defeat the English Premier League champions and criticized the Malaysian squad, whereby tigers only get back intensively after the 1^st goal from Azamuddin Mohd. Akil in the 87^th minute.

“I expected that Manchester City can beat Malaysia 4-0 but luckily tigers can score one goal in the 2^nd half.

“Tigers only get the spirit after their first goal in the 87^th minute and sadly, this always happened in any competition or game in Malaysian soccer.”

Draw Whatever You Want !

       The Draw Something App has taken over Apple and Android users, beating over the launch of pop culture Angry Bird sensation which developed by a studio called OMGPOP but it was bought out by Zynga. It is the most popular social drawing and guessing game in the App Store with over 7 billion drawings created since the game was launched.

More than one billion pictures have been drawn on the app to date. In fact, it‘s the number one game for iPhone and Android in 85 countries.  In the first five weeks, there were over 20 million downloads of the app. The app's gameplay is like going back to pen and paper, reliving the childhood days when it was draw stuff and pass it around class.

This game has gotten out of control.  There are Draw Something contests, Draw Something Parties and Draw Something Meet-ups where players meet up and play in person on their phones.It’s a game where you pick a drawing, draw that drawing and then challenge your friends or family to guess that drawing.

The new updates of Draw Something are now able to add comments, save drawings and share them on Facebook or Twitter. A quick Google search will reveal to user some magnificent drawings that people have done in Draw Something. The game gets really fun when you’re around family or friends sitting down and playing together constantly.

London 2012 Olympic Games

     

       The 2012 Olympics Games have been officiated in London; England with 29 sports will be contested among athletes. The first was in 1908 and next was in 1948, London 2012 has break several Guinness World Record including the most expensive tickets and most expensive logo among all the previous Olympics.

What is most intriguing is that, this Olympic takes place during the month of Ramadan for the second time in the history of Olympic after Moscow in 1980. Thus, athletes from Muslim Countries, including Malaysia’s, who will compete in the Olympics this time is certainly a concern because they need to compete in a fasting state. It is a full schedule for the opening of all 30 representatives of Malaysia in nine sports participated in the 2012 London Olympics.

       Band, comprising Muse Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme has been selected by the 2012 Olympic organizers as a group that will sing the official song of the London Olympic "Survival". Muse is a very popular among teenagers in Malaysia, is set to come up with extremely new album titled "The 2nd Law" which is expected to release in September.

The countdown to London 2012 has begun and, with the Olympic and Paralympic Games fast approaching, athletes across the globe are stepping up their training regimes and preparing to compete in the world’s greatest sporting event.

Let us all as citizens of Malaysia supports the Malaysian athletes that participated in the 2012 London Olympics. Good luck and hope that they will set Malaysia’s name on the world stage. Malaysia Boleh!

Holy month, Ramadan 2012

       Ramadan is a month of blessing, marked by prayers, reading the Holy Quran, and performing zakat (charity). It focuses on self discipline and devotion to Allah.

Ramadan in Southeast Asia is best experienced through the bazaars in cities like Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. These bazaars are closed throughout the day, but come to life in the late afternoon as bazaar food shops prepare food for Muslims breaking their fast at sundown.

Pasar Ramadan in Stadium Shah Alam is one of the biggest Ramadan Bazaar in Selangor, they offers a variety of food to choose from, the usual buka puasa dishes like Murtabak, Nasi Lemak Ayam to some other more traditional Malay delicacies such as Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Minyak plus a few Western delicacies such as burger, grilled lamb and kebab.

But there are some of the appetizing delights are Skewered BBQ Kebab, Raja Murtabak, Sabri Hoi Roasted Duck, Papa John (Roti John), Beriyani Ghafur, Kelapa Laut Afrika and Kerang/Ikan Bakar Asam Pedas.

Ramadan bazaars also offer great shopping value on traditional items, including textiles, clothes, decorative gewgaws, and even modern conveniences like CDs.

From the point of view, there is a lot of wastage during the month of Ramadhan.

Prophet Muhammad broke his fast with fresh dates and water.He ate a light meal only after Isyak prayers. It is important not to eat to the full when breaking fast.

“Eat when you are hungry and stop before you are full.” — Sunnah (The Prophet’s behaviour, habits and practices).

Ramadan should the month that we can save money since we don’t have to eat during the whole day. But contrarily most of people spend more money in Ramadan especially for breaking fasting as if that is the time for them to eat as replacement for not be able to eat from morning till Maghreb. But sadly, with prosperity and change of lifestyle, Ramadan has now become commercialized. Muslims in Malaysia, too, seem to deviate away from the sunnah.

This is not what Ramadhan teaches us. Maybe Malaysian Muslims should look back at themselves and the way they practice Islam. Islam is not what you show outside but through your daily practice and your internal understanding of the teaching.

Merdeka Logo Controversy

Kuala Lumpur, 29th July 2012 – There are several recommendations to the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to choose any of the logos design that was created by designer to be exchanged with the original logo.

He said the celebration on Aug 31^st would carry the theme “55 Years of Independence, Promises Fulfilled (55 Tahun Merdeka, Janji Ditepati)”.

Stressing this point, after seeing 1 Malaysia slogan ‘Rakyat Didahulukan dan Pencapaian Diutamakan’, it was like a nightmare and there are some judgments from Pakatan Rakyat and urged the government to change the theme of National Day 2012 "promises are kept" to a more inclusive theme. Previously, the opposition is also not comfortable and are not willing to 1Malaysia up there under the leadership of their states 'banned' the use of the slogans displayed on signs.

A meeting of the Leadership Council chaired by the opposition PAS secretary-general Datuk Mustafa Ali has made a decision and agreed that the theme were non-independence.

"We asked the government to change the theme of this year to the theme that encompasses the spirit of independence.

"This year's theme is very severe and unreasonable. It (theme) BN slogan ... What could be the theme for a country. People look to remember BN head theme.

Therefore, the Government has decided to replace the logo of the National Day celebration featuring 55 
"campaign promises are kept" after facing criticism of various parties over the past week.

Minister of Information, Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri RaisYatim announced that the move was to avoid misunderstandings.

"To curb some miscommunication we will (show) 1Malaysia as Merdeka logo (and) Malaysia Day," he said on Twitter.
